Guess what: I finally went on a major vacation all by myself last week! It was a cruise that left from Baltimore and went through Boston, MA; Portland and Bar Harbor, ME; St. John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
It got me thinking about how various places in Canada celebrated the new millennium, which means that I'm going to announce another ongoing project. I have something for Halifax, Nova Scotia already: Their magnificent public library had a pamphlet detailing twenty-four points of interest around the area, each with a little bit of history. I took pictures of the whole thing and will post them sometime at the end of the week.
